"Locket" by Katy Ballard

i keep a pocket for recession
spare change and a few rocks
words passed from generations
injections of fun
relics of my past and future

inside my locket a peek
wouldn't you like that
a proud projector of ambiguity

tell me your thoughts
i'll tell you mine
caress me
cup my breasts
kiss me

just don't do that
what you just did

i'll take care of you
if you ask me to
but i'll always keep one hand in my pocket
